Abstract

The purpose of this document is to review and evaluate the scientific literature on ozone and related oxidants and to document their effects on public health and welfare. Such documentation provides the Agency with a scientific basis for deciding whether regulations controlling these pollutants are necessary and for deriving such ambient air quality standards as may be needed.
