Property Values and Water Quality: Supporting Decisions with the Hedonic Model

Impact/Purpose

In the presentation, we will present an overview of the hedonic property model and its application to valuing water quality. We will review the method, present results from a meta-analysis of hedonic property value literature focused on water quality, and discuss directions for future research based on the results of the meta-analysis.
