The use of biological data in vulnerability assessments and beyond

This presentation provides examples of ways in which routine stream macroinvertebrate biomonitoring data can be used in vulnerability assessments in the Pacific Northwest. In addition, the enhanced value when used in combination with other types of data, including thermal data and landscape-scale watershed condition data will also be discussed. It concludes with a conceptual example of how biomonitoring programs could utilize this information to help inform prioritization of sites for restoration and conservation.
