Report on the Environment: Virtual Stakeholder Engagement

Meridith Fry will present to the Brazilian Water Agency (ANA) on the EPA Report on the Environment (ROE) virtual workshop series held in the fall of 2020. She will present an overview of the workshop format, structure, and how human-centered design was used in the planning and implementation.

Impact/Purpose

Meridith Fry was invited by OW (Amina Pollard) to present a webinar to the Brazilian Water Agency on August 6, 2021 on the EPA Report on the Environment's (ROE) six-week long virtual workshop series with its agency stakeholders in the fall of 2020. The engagement involved three overarching plenary sessions and four breakout group tracks, which focused on brainstorming innovative ideas and approaches for incorporating new ROE indicators, trends analyses, cross-media issues, and improved user experience. The ROE team successfully convened stakeholders from a variety of disciplines and levels of expertise to inform the next steps for the ROE program.
