Human Exposure Literature Search Queries for Systematic Review

On this page:

  • Overview
This is an abstract for an oral or poster presentation for the Society for Risk Analysis's (SRA's) 2021 virtual annual meeting to be held December 5-9, 2021.

Impact/Purpose

Literature searches and systematic review are essential for identifying the evidence presented in chemical, health, and exposure assessments. Currently, there is no publicly available collection of performance tested queries to identify human exposure to environmental chemicals in major scientific databases.  This presentation will introduce a set of search queries are performance tested, publicly available and are designed to promote standardization in approach, increase the accuracy in finding relevant studies and ease the burden of scientists by removing the time-consuming task of developing search queries.
