On this page:

  • Overview
This is a requested presentation for the EPA-NOAA Climate- Water Quality Workshop on EPA’s Coastal Nutrient Research. This presentation provides an overview of EPA Coastal Research for including tools available to characterize nutrient inputs and the response of several endpoints including primary producers, hypoxia, acidification, benthic communities, and ecosystem response.  We also include summary of model approaches being developed to assess nutrient-related stressors and ecosystem recovery in freshwater and coastal ecosystems.  The purpose of the workshop is to discuss common research interests for water quality in a changing climate with the goals of fostering collaboration, leveraging current research activities, and advancing our Agencies’ missions.
