Social sciences in EPA’s Office of Research and Development​

This presentation from a group of ORD social scientists will be given to a group at the Chesapeake Bay Program Office to provide context for ORD's progress and experience with integrating and strengthening the place of the social sciences within ORD. We will provide a history of social science in ORD, explore what has worked, challenges we have faced, and share a sample of ORD social scientists.

Impact/Purpose

This presentation and the one-day workshop where it will be given will share learnings from the ORD about successes and challenges of integrating the social sciences, foster collaboration, and explore opportunities to strategically leverage social science expertise and resources to advance Chesapeake Bay and watershed restoration and conservation.
