ArcGIS Toolboxes in a Linux High Performance Computing Environment

EnviroAtlas relies on scripted routines, often ArcGIS toolboxes, to automate our analyses. The growing collection of high-resolution input data is beyond the limits of our desktop capabilities. Notably, 1-meter land cover has been developed for the entirety of EPA Region 3 (i.e., Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington, D.C., and seven Tribal Nations); this represents over 300 billion data points. Using the Python 3 Runtime with ArcGIS Server allows us to utilize custom ArcGIS Pro toolboxes in a high-performance computing (HPC) environment.
