Data Documentation for PurpleAir sensors in Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina community, 2021-2024

We have produced a dataset based on environmental monitoring in Robeson County using low-cost sensors dispersed throughout the Lumbee Tribe community.

Impact/Purpose

This dataset compiles data from PurpleAir sensors throughout Robeson and Hoke counties, North Carolina, at various times 2021-2024. These data represent a pilot study to supplement sparse air pollution data in rural communities with self-collected data, in collaboration with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. The dataset includes a README file directory, documentation of data processing procedures, and spreadsheets of raw and processed data, organized by site.
