This digital binder summarizes research produced through the EPA ORD Chesapeake Bay Solutions-Driven Research on coastal resilience through natural infrastructure.  It introduces background and context, research co-production and community capacity, nature-based strategy development, co-benefit assessment around community values and preferences, and consolidates all produced research output and additional resources for coastal communities.  Each research component is described according to the challenge addressed, approach taken, results produced and impact of research.

Impact/Purpose

The goal of this digital binder is to have a single reference point integrating all components of the Chesapeake coastal resiliency solutions-driven research project.  It describes how the various multidisciplinary research questions and approaches addressed different, complementary aspects of challenges experienced by coastal communities like Crisfield, MD.  It points readers to resources that expand on each research component, which here have been all collected and synthesized together to better understand each component in context.
