The Office of Drinking Water (ODW), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has prepared a Drinking Water Criteria Document on toxaphene. This Criteria Document is an extensive review of the following topics: Physical and chemical properties of toxaphene; Toxicokinetics and human exposure to toxaphene; Health effects of toxaphene in humans and animals; Mechanisms of toxicity of toxaphene; Quantification of toxicological effects of toxaphene.
Prepared in cooperation with the University of Cincinnati, OH.
