Expanded Systematic Evidence Map for Hundreds of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) and Comprehensive PFAS Human Health Dashboard

On this page:

Systematic evidence mapping for PFAS structures to characterize human health literature for 430 prioritized PFAS. Systematic evidence maps are pre-decisional analyses that use systematic review methods to compile and summarize evidence, but do not include hazard assessment or toxicity value conclusions.

Impact/Purpose

Systematic Evidence Map (SEM) methods were used to survey and summarize available epidemiological and mammalian animal bioassay evidence that could inform human hazard identification for an expanded set of ~345 PFAS identified by US EPA's CCTE for in vitro toxicity and toxicokinetic assay testing.
