Notice
[8/23/2024] ERASC announced the release of the final report, Guidelines for Selecting the Appropriate Bioaccumulation Model(s) for Nonionic Organic Contaminants When Assessing Risk and Remedial Effectiveness at Contaminated Sediment Sites.
Abstract
The ERASC list of technical information and documents addresses scientific questions of concern or interest on topics relevant to ecological risk assessment at hazardous waste sites for EPA's Office of Land and Emergency Management (OLEM) personnel and Regional Superfund/Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) staff.Requests are channeled to ERASC through EPA's Ecological Risk Assessment Forum (ERAF) and Superfund Technology Liaisons (STLs). To assess emerging and complex scientific issues that require expert judgment, the ERASC relies on the expertise of scientists and engineers located throughout EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) labs and centers.
