Non-Dioxin-Like PCBs: Effects And Consideration In Ecological Risk Assessments
This response document was written in response to a request received by ORD’s Ecological Risk Assessment Support Center (ERASC) from the Ecological Risk Assessment Forum (ERAF). The purpose of this report is to o provide ecological risk assessors with a concise summary of the state-of-the-science regarding the biological effects of non-dioxin-like PCBs. It is also to provide ecological risk assessors with a compilation of references describing the biological effects of non-dioxin-like PCBs. The list of references is comprised primarily of books, reports, and review articles to provide risk assessors with sources from which they may acquire a thorough overview of the topics at hand. These materials should be used as a source for primary literature references.
