Development of a RapidTox Dashboard to inform Risk Assessment
Risk based decisions are diverse under the purview of Program and Regional Offices of the U.S. EPA. Emergency response to spills or chemical releases, site specific prioritization, and human health or ecological assessment are just a few examples of the myriad Agency foci that necessitate expedient assemblage and translation of data that inform potential exposure, hazard, and dose-response for a broad landscape of chemical contaminants. The U.S. EPA's RapidTox dashboard has been developed to fill this need. From physical chemistry properties and environmental fate and transport, to empirical and/or predicted exposures, hazards, and dose-response, the modules within the RapidTox dashboard may revolutionize the efficiency of making critical decisions that impact human health and ecological viability.
