Nitrogen movement and transformation: A journey from slopes through streams to urban wetlands in the Arizona desert
On this page:
The Arizona desert is a model ecosystem for studying how limited water availability and biological activity affect the movement and cycling of nitrogen through the landscape. I am presenting three components of my dissertation research on this topic. In addition, I am presenting a brief teaser on the research I am doing on cyanobacterial algal blooms across the US for my position with the EPA. I will present a few graphics to illustrate some of the research questions associated with this project.
