Cross-disciplinary partnerships on environmental public health issues
EPA’s Office of Research and Development (ORD) has committed to engaging the healthcare professional and public health communities. These engagements use multi-pronged approaches including presentations at professional society meetings, webinars about research to inform decision-making, studies related to understand communications avenues and messaging to raise awareness, accessibility, and usability of ORD research. This presentation will highlight examples of how EPA-ORD has worked with health care partners on the topic of air pollution, wildfire smoke and health effects.
Impact/Purpose
