This product provides introduction to a Special Issue on Transplacental Carcinogenesis. This Special Issue contains several peer reviewed articles and a couple of commentaries on transplacental and transgenerational carcinogenesis involving endocrine disrupting chemicals, such as diethylstilbestrol (DES), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), such as benzo[a]pyrene (B[a]P), antiretroviral (ARV) agents and environmental pollutants, such as particulate matter (PM) etc.

Impact/Purpose

The purpose of this manuscript is to provide introduction to a Special Issue on Transplacental/Transgenerational Mutagenesis and Carcinogenesis.
