Risk assessment and systematic review in the EPA's Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) Program-Presentation

This presentation provides an overview of (1) risk assessment at the EPA; (2) systematic review in the IRIS program; (3) the animal study evaluation protocol used by the IRIS program, and (4) how students can apply the study evaluation considerations when they are writing and designing studies.

Impact/Purpose

This presentation will be given as a lecture to the North Carolina State "Fundamentals of Toxicology" class on December 4, 2018. This is a class for first-year toxicology graduate students.
