Regulatory Toxicology.
Interdependence exists between toxicology and regulatory development. Many government programs use the results of toxicology studies to support regulation of chemicals and other toxic substances. Some government programs impose regulations on the conduct of toxicology studies, while other programs have more informal methods of encouraging and promoting high-quality toxicology studies. This chapter provides an overview of key resources in regulatory toxicology as well as major publications on the past 10 years.
