Approaches to Address Current Challenges Posed by Wildfires
The Air and Energy program supports wildland fire research across its portfolio. Research topics include air quality modeling, measurements, health and ecological impacts, climate change impacts, sensors, integration of fire emissions, atmospheric, and ecosystem models, and risk communication. A separate integrated science focus synthesizes this work.
