National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS): Health Effects of Particulate Matter and Ozone (VBSC 230: Introductory ToxicologyPenn State University)

The scientific evidence presented within the Integrated Science Assessments (ISAs) provide the scientific basis of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). This presentation provides a broad overview of the NAAQS review process, the evaluation of the scientific evidence in the ISAs, and an overview of the health effects evidence for particulate matter and ozone.
