Health Assessment Workspace Collaborative Demonstration

The Health Assessment Workplace Collaborative (HAWC) is a critical software application for EPA health and environmental assessments to support Agency decisions for policies and regulations. HAWC facilitates the evaluation of study quality, extraction of data from studies, and visualization of extracted and stored information. HAWC also facilitates public access to visualizations of the data that underpin key regulatory decisions. This presentation will provide an introduction to HAWC to a wider audience through the National Academies of Sciences. 

Impact/Purpose

Health Assessment Workspace Collaborative (HAWC) is a critical tool as part of EPA assessment programs. The tool has proven to provide a significant benefit in managing and increasing the pace of moving through assessment workflows. This presentation will provide an introduction to HAWC to a wider audience through the National Academies of Sciences.
