An Overview of PFAS toxicological and epidemiological findings

The product is a series of slides to highlight the current understanding of PFAS toxicity with animal models and the corresponding findings from epidemiological surveys.

Impact/Purpose

To provide a brief overview of PFAS toxicological and epidemiological findings to an open audience for the annual "Chicago Water Week" meeting (https://www.currentwater.org/chicago-water-week) co-sponsored by Argonne National Laboratory and the University of Chicago. The goal of the scientific session is to explore state-of-the-art research on PFAS toxicity, detection, separation, and destruction to enable water reuse.
