Updating the U.S. EPA IRIS Assessment of Methylmercury (MeHg)

This presentation provides background on methylmercury as a developmental neurotoxicant and on the previous reference value established in 2001 for methylmercury. It then focuses on the status of the new IRIS Assessment for Methylmercury and discusses next steps.

Impact/Purpose

We will be presenting to the Seafood Advice Workgroup (a joint FDA/EPA group) on the status of the EPA Methylmercury Assessment.
