EVALUATION OF IMPACTS OF LTEMP SEIS ALTERNATIVES ON SAND EXPOSURE FOR AEOLIAN LANDSCAPE AND CULTURAL SITE RESOURCES

This is a presentation to be delivered to stakeholders along the Colorado River in Grand Canyon as part of a conference convened by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The presentation addresses the impacts of future operations of Glen Canyon Dam on physical landscape form within Grand Canyon.

Impact/Purpose

This presentation details work aimed at quantifying impacts of Glen Canyon Dam operations, both past and future, on landscape cover in Grand Canyon National Park. The results will aid land managers in conserving ecosystems and landscapes along the Colorado River.
