Using greenspace, green infrastructure, and other nature-based solutions to benefit the health and well-being of vulnerable communities in urban areas

This is a two-page description of efforts undertaken from Oct 2022-Sept 2023 to scope HERA 401.3.3. It frames the issues we are addressing, the main research questions, activities of the core team and cross-EPA working group, challenges, and future activities.

Impact/Purpose

The purpose of this work is to understand the effects of nature-based solutions on health. This two-page description details the initial steps we have taken to scope the work. In the future, we hope local decision-makers can use our work to select and implement nature-based solutions that are good for health.
