Waterbody Monitoring with Machine Learning Modeling

Presentation about research using trail cameras as input data to a neural network machine learning model to inform on streamflow.

Impact/Purpose

The purpose of this presentation is to introduce the audience to the Flow Photo Explorer project. The presentation provides an overview of the workflow of the project, shows examples of images and the image ranking procedure, and describes next steps. The current project is based on stream images, while new work will explore image analysis of lakes and wetlands.
