Summary of ongoing research on green spaces and health

This is a Power Point presentation for research partners summarizing research on health benefits of urban green spaces using biomarker-based indices of allostatic load and epigenetic aging as measures of sub-clinical health impact. 

Impact/Purpose

This presentation is intended to inform non-EPA research partners about research on sub-clinical cumulative health impacts of community environment, behavioral and social factors. Research partners are expected to provide feedback on further research, and to facilitate the application of biomarker-based measures of health in community-level investigations, including assessments of health benefits of policy interventions aiming to improve residential environment and assess to health-promoting amenities.
