The Eco-Health Relationship Browser through the National Ecosystem Services Classification System Plus framework.

On this page:

  • Overview
The Eco-Health Relationship Browser is an interactive web-based tool that illustrates linkages between ecosystem good and services and human health and summarizes the scientific evidence for these linkages. It can be used as both an educational tool and as a reference for planning and implementation of decisions based on environmental justice and public health. The National Ecosystem Services Classification System Plus (NESCS Plus) framework provides a consistent approach for identifying and describing ecosystem goods and services. In this presentation we will walk through the application of NESCS Plus to the Eco-Health Relationship Browser, and highlight how this framework can classify uses, users, and beneficiaries of ecosystems goods and services tools.
