Wildfire and One Health

Overview of ORD's wildfire research through a One Health framework. To be delivered to the One Health Federal States, Tribes, and Local Territories Update meeting, facilitated by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). 

Impact/Purpose

This presentation aims to show states, tribes, and local territories how the One Health concept can be applied to wildfires and how the environmental challenges can impact human and ecosystem health, impact other media-specific issues, and increase bacterial disease transmission.
