This R package is used to calculate metrics and indicators for vegetation for the National Wetlands Condition Assessment.

Impact/Purpose

The purpose of this R package is to assemble all of the functions used to calculate the metric and multimetric index for vegetation for the National Wetlands Condition Assessment (NWCA). The documentation provides detailed guidance on using the functions to replicate processes used in NWCA data analysis. The package will be of interest to states and tribes that want to follow the NWCA processes for wetland vegetation using their own data.
