Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in over 103 million COVID-19 cases in the United States (US). However, studies of associations between environmental exposures and COVID-19 hospitalizations are limited. We examined associations between fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and COVID-19 hospitalizations within the National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C) – a national electronic health record (EHR) resource.
