An Introduction to Public Comments

  • Overview
This presentation (to GW graduate students in environmental health) will provide an overview of 1) the federal rulemaking process and public comments; 2) public comments in action; and 3) resources for writing timely and effective public comments. There will also be time for a discussion and Q&A with the students. 

Impact/Purpose

This presentation will introduce graduate students at GW University to basic aspects of the federal rulemaking and public comment processes and provide resources so they can engage in the rulemaking process through public comments.
