Determining species-specific half-lives for all 209 PCB congeners through a Bayesian Hierarchical Framework and QSAR modeling

Abstract submission for SOT for the prediction of PCB congener half-lives through QSAR modeling. Abstract is over the 4000k character limit so will uploaded as a separate document.

Impact/Purpose

Using extracted human PCB congener half-lives coupled with animal half-lives derived from a hierarchical Bayesian framework, we developed a QSAR model for predicting half-lives for all 209 congeners across mice, rats, primates, and humans. Using these predictions, congener-specific internal dosimetry can be predicted any congener of interest.
