Soil health dataset from Kansas Farms 2023-2024

Dataset from Regional-ORD Applied Research (ROAR) Project FY22, Region 7: "Soil Health Practices' Impact on Groundwater Nitrate Contamination " A workbook of all the soils data collected near Holton, Kansas, in agricultural fields. Laboratory analysis of soil properties was completed by Ward Labs in Kearny Nebraska. Isotope analysis of soils was completed in Integrated Stable Isotope Research Facility operated by US Environmental Protection Agency. The goal of this project was to evaluate if Soil Health Principles can reduce the risk of nitrate leaching from agricultural fields.
