Wildfire Advancing Science Partnerships for Indoor Reduction of Smoke Exposures (ASPIRE) Study Webinar

This presentation, "Wildfire Advancing Science Partnerships for Indoor Reduction of Smoke Exposures (ASPIRE) Study," provides an overview of the methods, results and significance of the Wildfire ASPIRE Study components, including the 2019 web summit on clean air spaces; the prize-based challenge to encourage development of new, effective, low-cost approaches to reduce PM indoors during smoke events; laboratory and field studies on DIY air cleaners; the indoor/outdoor air quality field study in Missoula, MT; the ASHRAE Guideline 44-2024: Protecting Building Occupants During Wildfire and Prescribed Burn Events; and the U.S. EPA Best Practices Guide for Improving Indoor Air Quality in Commercial/Public Buildings During Wildland Fire Smoke Events. 

Impact/Purpose

This presentation is the final external and internal update for the Wildfire ASPIRE Study.
