EPA AOP-DB version 2 updates

On this page:

  • Overview
  • Downloads
Here we present an updated version of the database, which includes an increased number of adverse outcomes and corresponding key events derived from updated feeds from the AOP-Wiki (https://aopwiki.org/), updated chemical, gene, tissue, disease information, as well as population-level frequency data for AOP-specific key events.

Impact/Purpose

There is a need for approaches to understand the biological mechanism of adverse outcomes and human variability in response to environmental chemical exposure. The EPA Adverse Outcome Pathway Database (AOP-DB) is a database resource that combines different data types (AOP, gene, chemical, disease, pathway, orthology, and ontology) to profile the impacts of chemicals to human health and the environment, and serves as a decision support tool for case study development.
